That's Why She's the Duchess

The only other estrogen-heavy beings in my house are the dog, Duchess, and the cat, who goes by several names - Kitty, Fluffpot, Miracle, and Minnie - depending upon who's doing the calling.
While the cat is rather sweet (and a little pesky), she's not as lady-like as my dog.
With a name like Duchess, one feels it's prudent to sit with legs crossed at all times.
Even when politely begging to be let out to gnash small rodents to bits.

aww, cute :) Our dog also crosses her legs. She'll cross her front ones with she's laying down, we love it. It looks so delicate *g*

What a hoot. Lily (hannah's toy poodle does that, too---but it's her front legs)

Ha! Great minds thinking alike. I just posted today about my female cat and dog. I've just cruelly evicted one of them so I am again outnumbered by the guys, at least inside the house. It's funny how they sit on their tails isn't it? Cushioning, maybe?

Duchess, we think, is part rat terrier and part... corgi perhaps? What with her resemblance to a fat roll of sausage.
