Yeah, I'd be pissy too if I had to wear a hat all the time. Makes for really bad hair days! All flat and funky and staticky (how the hell do you add a y to a word that ends in c?). Anyway, hopefully the last bit of winter will pass quickly.
That's me, too. And once I start wearing the hat, it starts to become necessary to hide my hat hair. I wonder if I have a disease that I should be so cold when my family is not. Then I find a way to blame my mother, that she bundled me too warm as a baby, and that's why ... terrible of me.
I was just thinking about posting about what I have been wearing to bed this winter. Wool socks, running pants, turtleneck and sweater. I kid you NOT. Last night I ditched the turtleneck and went for the t shirt with a sweater. I can not get warm from October to mid April. We had sun today finally. I got a bit silly and went w/out a coat. STUPID.
It's been - um - really nice here. Spring sprang so early I almost didn't notice it had happened - I thought it was a sunshine fluke. Maybe you guys need better groundhogs?
Of course my husband just landed in Texas this morning. It's snowing. He was surprised.
Oh my, reading all your comments makes me feel like a sissy:) What we think of as cold over here would be t'shirt weather for you guy's!!!! Hope things will warm up soon and you can take the layers off.....
I am available to speak to your group on a variety of fitness, parenting and unschooling-related topics. Email me at piscesgrrl17@gmail.com for a list of workshop ideas and to discuss possibilities.
I have a spirited imagination and I dance between fantasy and reality. I live on a mountainside. I reside in an old Victorian home. But I also live in a second-story flat. And I live in that old farmhouse with the falling down barn. The view from my window changes with the seasons, and my wanderlust is calmed when my children wake me from my reverie. Recently someone told me I think more than the average person. I liked that.
