This is the time to focus on yourself, your family, and your healing. I really enjoy reading your blog. You are a great writer.

Hugs,
ChrisChrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12173460571774191117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27398888.post-1154022876150547212006-07-27T11:54:00.000-06:002006-07-27T11:54:00.000-06:00I too have decided to stop reading the newspapers,...I too have decided to stop reading the newspapers, watching the news, listening to the news. It is too much to bear, and I think it is unnatural. We were never meant to absorb all the horror in the entire world. There is just too much of it -- always has been, but until the last few decades, "we" didn't think we needed to be aware of all of it. Then we became obsessed with mass communication, mass suffering, mass ... everything. We got so excited about being able to transmit all the news around the world that we never stopped to ask if we should.

And for a really depressing look at the world situation, the documentary, "Why We Fight" is horribly sobering.Deborah Niemannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10754242197245805551noreply@blogger.com
